Assignment 4: The 8 Tasks

TASK 1: Individually watch the muted cartoon and plan a story board of the clip. Hand in your story boards.

TASK 2: Make a mind map using word or powerpoint (or make a mind map by hand) detailing the sounds and sfx you think you will need for your sound track. Highlight in one colour sounds/sfx you will record live yourself. Highlight in another colour sounds/sfx that you will search for online or from sound discs (this needs to be about 50/50) Print this off and hand it in.

TASK 3: Make a production schedule for the remaining weeks of this assignment: example below (due date is wed 28th march - gp X or fri 30th march - gp Y). Detail when you will be recording live SFX’s and what equipment you will need (remember people and where you record), time for editing recorded SFX’s, time to research and fine SFX’s and final editing time.
